A. Selenium is a component of the antioxidant glutathione peroxidase enzyme system.
B. Selenium is involved in the maintenance of basal metabolism and body temperature.
C. Selenium is present only in foods of animal origin.

D. Selenium is needed in minute amounts by the human body.

I know C is false as selenium is found in Brazil nuts.
