PostHeaderIcon Natural Skincare Products are Better for Your Skin

When looking for a skin care cream, many consumers are turning to natural skincare products to reduce the lines and wrinkles on their skin. This is all part of the entire ‘green’ shift going on in the world today. No longer do people want to apply drugs or synthetic products to their skin.

Natural skincare products are obviously much better for your skin. However, just because a product claims to contain natural ingredients does not mean that it is a good product. There are cosmetic companies that will do anything just to sell their inferior product. Even claiming that it is the best natural skincare cream available! Now science is not a bad thing either. Science can come up with a way to combine natural ingredients without the use of chemicals.

It is important to avoid products that contain fragrances or parabens. These are harmful to your skin and should not be applied to your skin at all. Keep this in mind; whatever you apply to your skin could be absorbed directly into your bloodstream.

Some small skin care companies around the world are doing some amazing research and development with natural substances for their natural skincare products. This is exactly what you want; a product that contains natural ingredients that actually work at reducing the lines and wrinkles on your skin.

One of these natural substances is phytessence wakame. It is derived from a type of Japanese sea kelp. In fact, the Japanese even use it in their diet. Some of the benefits to the skin include the reduction of lines and wrinkles. It acts as an antioxidant as well, which means it reverses the skin cell damage caused by free radicals.

Another natural substance that is found in the best natural skincare products in the world is Cynergy TK.

On my website, I have more information available on natural ingredients used in natural skincare products that actually work.

PostHeaderIcon Soy Allergy and Supplement Use

There are many types of food allergies, any of which can be a very serious issue with dangerous consequences if not addressed properly. In the world of natural healing this is accomplished not just by simply eliminating from your diet what is causing the allergic reaction, especially since the cause may not be immediately known, but also by incorporating key nutrients into your diet. There have been many books written on this subject, whether you’re healing the body naturally or using them in combination with an Rx; supplements play a key role.

Front and center in the war from within is your immune system. It’s what fights off disease, but when weakened it can be an open door to many unwanted guests. Certain vitamins and minerals are used to help boost the body’s immune system. This is crucial since your immune system is already being taxed simply dealing with an allergic reaction. Some of the key players used to increase immune function within the body are Vitamins A, C, D, E, as well as Zinc.

Certain flavonoids such as Quercitin are used for their ability to lessen the severity of the body’s reaction to allergens. It’s their ability to reduce any and all inflammatory response caused by the allergen, as well as their antioxidant affect that makes flavonoids such an important nutrient.

Lets not forget about proper digestion when it comes to allergies. When the stomach lacks what it needs to properly break down foods during digestion, this undigested food can enter the blood stream causing your immune system to treat it as foreign bodies, resulting in an allergic reaction. There are many supplements used in aiding digestion, whether it’s enzymes such as bromelain, or probiotics (the good bacteria in your stomach).

Whatever the allergy there are many reasons to turn to supplements, but certain allergies can make taking supplements a bit tricky. Take soy for instance. If you suffer from a soy allergy you probably already know soy is in most all processed prepackaged foods, but it’s also important to be vigilant when taking supplements. This is primarily due to the incorporation of vitamin E in the form of mixed tocopherals, which are usually derived from soybeans. Now although I’ve been told that with the process used, there should be no soy remaining in the end product, I consistently have a reaction when vitamin E (soy) is on the label. I have seen soy in one form or another in many popular supplements; omega-3 (especially liquid form), all multivitamins, Vitamin D, and many of the probiotics on the market.

So what to do? In my case I have been able to work around this by maintaining a healthy diet first and foremost, as well as scrutinizing all labels and not just the basic ingredients; all product labeling! I have found allergy free supplements for some of the culprits mentioned above, but others I have not. I am a firm believer though, that nothing beats a healthy diet. Whole foods can be your best source of most all nutrients necessary for optimal health. Although I do take supplements, I always consult an expert in the field of natural healing. This way I get that extra boost of what my body really needs, rather than just walking blindly through my local health food store.

PostHeaderIcon Searching for the Ultimate Antiaging Skincare Product

It may seem unbelievable but in my search for the secret to the best antiaging skincare product, I found my self traveling to many interesting and mysterious places. I visited the cool crisp mountains of the Swiss Alps, the hot, beautiful african jungles and the ancient, rich ungerground domains of some of the most secret Egyptian tombs. At the end of my search I was surprised with what I had learned and realised that I had learned far more than which antiaging skincare product to look for.

The Power of Tea

I discovered many things but one thing that kept coming up all around the world was the claim that a high quality green tea product was one answer to my search for an antiaging skincare product. Tea is an ancient drink that has been used for centuries and many of us know and love tea in various forms. Green Tea is considered by many to be a health food because it has so many benefits one of which is the properties that help with detoxification. Many claim that green tea helps with anti aging, helps protect against cancer, helps to prevent heart disease, gum disease, and even has been said to help with the weight loss battle as well.

Back To Antiaging Skincare Product

To get a little technical for a moment, we need to discuss what is in the tea that helps the antiaging process. Tea conatains polyphenols that do a significant amount of work. These polyphenols effectively fight against the signs of aging by keeping our bodies healthy inside. These are known as catechins. There are many different catechins in tea and it is these catechins that perform the bulk of the effects.

Why green tea?

Green tea has almost twenty times the amount of catechins in it that black tea has. Green tea elevates the antioxidant effects of your skin, cells and even blood by allowing it to fight the devastating aging that is caused constantly by the effect of oxygen on the body cells. This means that the higher the level of polyphenols in a product that you have working for you, the greater the anti aging effect on your skin. It may sound like an an unusual method in terms of your skin care routine, especially when we live in a world filled with expensive lotions and creams, but it is exciting to think that it is possible that, maybe, the best antiaging skin care product out there could be something you could just drink. Of course a really important point to remember is that while you are taking care of your skincare needs you will also be benefitting your body because the green tea will not only help your skin but all the cells of your body. It seems that it is becoming widely accepted that green teas actually do help us with our skin care and our search for having young looking skin.

Information Is The Best

As I searched for information on I realised that the search became almost as important, if not more important than the search for the ultimate antiaging skincare product. In my search around this varied world, I became amazed with the quantity of information that is available about the skin already and I came to realize that we should be using that information to our advantage first and leave the search for the ulitmate skin cream until last. While we must always take care of the surface of our skin, we must remember that it is a living organ and if we can have an effect at the cellular level where the skin is formed then we will be much more effective in our fight against antiaging. It may turn out that our best weapon to fight the signs of aging could just turn turn out to be education. Now that is a thought!

PostHeaderIcon What’s the best antioxidant supplement for weight loss?

Which do you think is the best? Would appreciate input on this!

An antioxidant slows or prevents the oxidation of other molecules, which helps the body fight disease and aging but doesn’t promote weight loss.

If you’re looking for natural weight loss substances, though, try green tea catechins. Green tea extract is available in a number of supplements, or you can simply drink 4 or more cups green tea or white tea a day, which is what I do.

Calcium also aids weight loss because it binds with fat. Most Americans are calcium deficient. Capsaicin, found in hot peppers and some spicy foods, boosts metabolism, and you can get this in extract form.

PostHeaderIcon Value of dried fruits and natural fruits.?

Does anyone know if dried fruits have the same nutrional value as fresh fruits in the produce section…..
This year I noticed the fruit has not been abundant as other years….
I couldn’t get cherries all year..and not very many blueberries…..and when I did find some they were very expensive and of poor quality…
so I have been buying dried fruits….
They last longer….and they are always in stock.

But what I need to know….are they they same in their antioxidant performance and other ways..

If anyone knows can you please tell me…..
I realize what you are trying to say, but I love fruits. This year there wasn’t any good fruit, and because of this I got very sick three times. Usually during the summer, the fruit is abundant, esp; strawberries, blueberries, cherries, plums. This year, very little, and when there was, it was very dry, moldy, etc.
I love nuts and other good foods, but nothing takes the place of a large abundant supply of juicy fresh fruits.

HAHAHA antioxidants can be found in SO MANY other foods

Meat for example has selenium and certain amino acids that act as antioxidants

Eggs have Vitamin E which acts as an antioxidant

Hell even cholesterol is an antioxidant!!!

Oxidation is mostly due to too high PUFA levels, anyways (vegetable oils), so limit the veggie oils and you won’t need to worry about getting a high antioxidant intake

Fruits are practically worthless- little nutrients, way too much sugar (carbs), etc. Dried fruit is even worse- less nutrients than fresh fruit, even more sugar than fresh fruit

Get your nutrients elsewhere

PostHeaderIcon Taking whitening pills during pregnancy?

Im in my 1st month of pregnancy and Im taking whitening pills (glutathione/meta-thione) is it safe? and im taking vitamin c too… so is it okay?

I would check with your doctor but I think you should be careful. Let the baby come first and stop taking the whitening pills. The most damage from chemicals etc is done early in the pregnancy when all organs and limbs are forming.

PostHeaderIcon In this add for food suppliments it says the body cannot absorb this molecule(amino acid?), is this true?

This is what it says below (But this doesn’t seem true because people I know feel completely different after taking these suppliments that they say are broken down and therefore do notwork; the personal research is compltely conflicting with what it says in their add
Copied below:
Supplementing with glutathione in capsules is the next best thing to useless you’ll ever get. It needs to be made within the cells and glutathione from capsules is mostle destroyed by the intestinal barrier, so is not absorbed in quantities that make much difference to intracellular levels.

Taking NAC (n-acetyl-cysteine) is also not very producetive as it is not delivered to the cell wall where it can be absorbed to make a difference on GSH levels.

Therefore, the proven, non-toxic and safe method to increase intracellular GSH is by utilizing the substrates which produced the glutamate-cysteine (glu-cys) residues in sufficient amounts to be impactful.

What takes place is the cystine in GSH (which is two cysteines linked by a double sulfa bond) released during digestion in the gastrointestinal tract is more stable than the free cysteine, because the disulfide bond is pepsin and trypsin (digestive enzymes which normally break things down) resistant and therefore these enzymes are unable to break down this amino acid during the digestive process. This then allows the cysteine to be delivered to the cell where it is then utilized in the synthesis of GSH.
What do you beleive? This is the add

http://www.y2khealthanddetox.com/gshcomplex2.html

Sounds like a lot of word games and gobbldygook. (That is, nonsense.)

The human body must get 8 essential amino acids through the diet and the other 14 are produced by the body as needed. Infants need higher levels of some….and humans with particular types of diseases may need help with some amino acids which they cannot properly process.

Someone on a strict vegetarian may need special monitoring to see if the proper mix of amino acids is provided by the diet. But a good mix of food sources usually addresses the "numbers" such that protein-deficiencies [proteins are composed of amino acid chains] are considered almost non-existent among well fed populations. You are correct to assume that any product being sold on the premise that humans need some special amino acid supplement in addition to a good diet IS A SCAM. (An exception would be someone with a particular disease such as phenylketonuria.)

It sounds like they want you to believe that the human species has somehow been limping along without their help. Some of the supplement companies try to claim that even though the human body can produce various things on its own, it is somehow "overly taxing" and you should take their supplement to make it easier. This is often the reasoning behind their selling various "enzymes" even though the body usually breaks down the enzymes which happen to be eaten and the enzymes the body needs are manufactured by the body as needed.

As always, look for INDEPENDENT verification of the science — and don’t be fooled by the various bogus "foundations" and "research institutes" that these companies create. Many even publish (and/or fund the publication) of "journals" that only exist to push their products. I have found that some of them even quote non-existent journal articles — or say things like "Harvard University researchers endorsed our product" despite denials from university officials. I’ve even seen claims made on the basis of the Physician’s Desk Reference even though PDR doesn’t even get into the subject matter often falsely attributed to it!

Of course, if a Multi-Level Marketing scheme is involved in distribution (MLM), that is another BIG RED FLAG. Also be suspicious if they emphasize that doctors hate their product because they profit from people staying sick or if they keep saying that doctors get no nutritional training in med school and are taught in a conspiracy to oppose their products — but instead they want you to trust their "certified nutritional consultants" who are specially knowledgable about these things. Some of the "product literature" I’ve been given by such people are filled with typos, misspellings, misuse of medical and biochemical terms, etc……..such that they hardly promote confidence in them!

PostHeaderIcon How to Find the Best Natural Skincare System?

Finding the best natural skincare products is not as easy as it would seem. To truly find the best products you need understand what goes into them. I am not talking about the skin creams that are seen advertised on television. These are mass-produced by the large cosmetic companies using synthetic or chemical ingredients.

The best natural skincare products do not contain harmful chemicals, they contain natural ingredients designed to reduce the lines and wrinkles on your skin. There is some processing involved to manufacture the cream but that is it, no harmful additives.

As your skin ages, it loses the natural proteins that give it the firmness and elasticity associated with younger healthier skin. The only way to restore these proteins is to have your body naturally re-produce them. This can be done and the best natural skincare ingredients available can do just that. Where do you find products with these ingredients?

Let me tell you that you will not find products with the best natural skincare ingredients on the shelves of your favorite drug store. Finding the right skin care products is not hard if you know what to look for in a good skin product.

The ingredients are what make the best natural skincare products. Most people do not know what constitutes a good ingredient in a skin cream. Read on and I will give you some information on some natural substances that will work wonders for your skin by helping to reduce the lines and wrinkles that have formed over the years.

Have you heard of Phytessence wakame? It is an extract of Japanese sea kelp. It is one of the best natural skincare ingredients available. It acts as a powerful antioxidant that counters the damage done by free radicals. Free radicals cause cell damage in your skin, which is one of the causes of lines and wrinkles. This natural substance will also help heal dry skin and assist in the re-production of natural proteins in the skin.

Let’s move on to another of the best natural skincare ingredients. It is called Cynergy TK. It is derived from the wool of sheep in New Zealand. It contains keratin, which is an important protein that can be absorbed by your skin to help re-produce the skin’s own natural proteins.

If you would like more information on the best natural skincare products then visit my website where I go over the natural ingredients in more detail.

PostHeaderIcon Antiaging Nutrition – Right Under Our Noses!

The correlation between antiaging and the proper intake of nutrition cannot be understated. Since humans first began to understand the aging process the quest for the fountain of youth has been a mission which has failed to come up with a magical formula that will stop aging in it’s tracks.

Antiaging Nutrition

Lifestyle disease has affected the western world in plague proportions during the past 50 years. With food processing becoming technologically more advanced, it seems the compromise has been diminished nutrient values; we don’t seem to be getting the proper nutritional value from our foods as we once did and in turn, this has led to less of the nutritional intake our bodies require to fight oxidative cell damage.

So can the aging process be combatted simply by consuming the optimum amount of antioxidants and minerals on a daily basis? The theory is that if we maintain a satisfactory level of antioxidant and mineral intake on a daily basis then this oxidative damage can be minimized thus slowing or halting the progression of almost all chronic degenerative diseases; this includes the aging process.

One of the misconceptions with nutritional intake seems to revolve around the notion that by simply loading up with one particular nutrient, then this will help promote a good healthy disposition. Research during the past twenty years indicates more an more that taking optimum levels of nutrition daily is beneficial for healthy cell function: however, taking a nutritional formula in a balanced fashion seems to be the key to maintaining proper and long term function. Antiaging nutrition isn’t about taking a quick fix solution; it’s more about preventative measures as opposed to treatment measures. It’s pretty simple really… maintain a healthy body on the inside and the result should be a healthy looking body on the outside.

Nutrition Deficiency – Can It result In Premature Aging?

The function of antioxidants and minerals ranges from building proteins, the protection of cellular structures as well as the production of hormones. If we are nutrient deficient, we risk susceptibility to cellular damage which in turn, over time, has a domino effect on our entire demeanor. Continued exposure to toxic substances can only be sustained for a limited period of time before our bodies begin to show the strains of wear and tear. Premature aging is one of the defects likely to occur.

Bottom line is; antiaging solutions such as cosmetics, hormone treatments and plastic surgery are big business in the 21st. century. Simple fact is, antiaging nutrition may be our biggest ally in slowing the aging process. This is a fact more and more people seem to be discovering.
