Has anyone purchased proleva antioxidant? ?
I need to start taking vitamins and one of the vitamins that I need is some kind of antioxidant supplement, I know that Proleva is one of the best ones out there, but how much does it costs and can I get it anywhere else besides online?
I can get a free trial over the internet but before I do that I want to know how much will it cost me after the free trial, does anyone know?.
Thanks
I’ve never heard of it, nor seen it in stores before. However, I looked it up on Yahoo and it looks like they don’t sell it in stores, just online.
Personally, I would recommend getting a different product if you’re concerned about price. It looks like a pretty good product (I can’t find a thing about their quality, though), but I’ve looked into a lot of companies like this and almost all of the time, when there’s a "free trial", they charge way too much for the final product (especially since they have to pay for all those free samples) and it would be cheaper to get the products separately or in other combinations. I looked all over and there is no mention of a price after the free trial… that’s always a bad sign.

All that being said, it looks like a good combination of some of the big fad fruits (Noni, Goji, etc) that are great antioxidants, so that throws up another red flag to me. There are a lot of companies that use popularity of fads like this to sell an inferior product and/or a product at a price that’s way too high for the ingredients so they can make lots of quick money. Also, the formulation is only 800 mg of nutrients (per 2 capsules) and that’s not very much for all the nutrients they have listed in there.
Personally, I would shop around and see if you can find comparable products at a good price… just make sure the company has a good rating with either the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) or USP (U.S. Pharmacopoeia), as those are the main quality assurance organizations (USP is for the U.S., GMP is for the U.S. and worldwide).
Good luck!

if i decide to try the lemon juice, potatoes, toothpaste, or anything else, do i need to use it everyday? how often? thank you sooo much
I’ve heard lemon juice worked. And the toothpaste, I heard namy times. I think because of its strong smell that is capable to eliminate your bumps and leave you bump-free.
Good luck
my skin is prone to breakouts and pigmentation. Do the pills containing Glutathione work?
Hi guyz,
As you know many of these pills are also used to whiten the skin. I dont wanna be lighter but some1 swears by it. The say they work wonders and Glutathione is known for its gr8 benefits (Glutathione is the major endogenous antioxidant produced by the cell. Glutathione participates directly in the neutralization of free radicals, reactive oxygen compounds, and maintains exogenous antioxidants such as vitamins C and E in their reduced (active) forms. In addition, through direct conjugation, glutathione plays a role in the detoxification of many xenobiotics (foreign compounds) both organic and inorganic.) and recommended by most doctors…. I’ve tried everything else there is…
Let me know what you think.
Maybe u should switch to another pill
Is it safe to take L-Glutatahione while taking anti-tuberculosis drugs?
Since taking Anti-tuberculosis drugs may damage the liver. Is it OK to take glutathione supplement? Does it help?
Just want to ask your opinion before talking to my doctor. Thanks
Whoa…..it is not the best idea to be asking a question like this to the general internet population. You should consult a doctor or pharmacist, for your own health and safety. You still might want information from other people who have tried this, but you should not mix any kind of drugs without first consulting a health professional.
can i have an antioxidant overdose from the foods and supplements that i take?
i eat lots of antioxidant foods and i also take 100iu vitamin e+500mg vit c+biofalovonoids+fish oils+garlic oil and other supplements which may have antioxidant properties
Greetings,
Yes, you can.
As is common in nutrition (and biology in general) excesses can lead to problems. Supplements are natural substances, but technology has been applied to them to concentrate them beyond what is normal in nature. Care must therefore be exercised when taking such unnaturally concentrated foodstuffs.
Although vitamin C is not considered toxic, the two fat-soluble vitamins, A and E, often taken as anti-oxidants, are both toxic in high doses; vitamin A at greater than 100,000 units per day; and vitamin E at 800mg per day or more.
Flavonoids are generally considered fairly safe, though toxicity has not been well studied, and there are reports of toxic flavonoid/drug interactions, as well as dermatitis and liver problems.
Diets that are very heavily plant-based and high in oxalic acid and phytic acid (beans, unleavened whole grains and the like) can have a so-called ‘anti-nutritional’ effect, since these acids bind calcium and iron in the intestine and prevent their absorption. Iron deficiency anemia and calcium deficiency can result.
Although from time to time laboratory studies suggest possible benefits to anti-oxidants, it should pointed out that when large studies are finally done, these suggestive benefits often tend not to bear fruit. For instance, it had been suggested for years that vitamin E would likely be beneficial in the prevention of heart disease. However, recent large studies have definitively disproved this, even suggesting a harmful effect.
A well balanced diet without supplements is your best bet, save perhaps for a simple multivitamin once a day.

Does anyone know about the skin lightening, antioxidant, and detoxifiying pill called L-Glutathione?
Are there any side effects for both short and long term use of this pill?
Does it really work?
What is the quantity used for skin lightning?
How about using vitamin C with it? What quantity?
Finally which brand of L-Glutathione is preffered?
here’s some helpful info about the glutathione skin whitening pill –

Is l-glutathione broken down to more basic components when taken orally?
I read that the l-glutathione molecule is too large to be abosrbed in the intestines, but so are proteins and starches. Is glutathione then broken down to its more basic components? Since it is an amino acid, does our body have anenzyme that can break it down so that it can be absorbed? I’m asking since I’m interested in its ability to detoxify the body of heavy metals from pollution, car exhausts, etc. Also, if the body doesn’t absorb it through the intestines, how come it is being sold as a supplement and, in certain instances, a skin whitener (in higher dosages)?

Free Radicals and Antioxidants
In health, there is no single solution to everyone’s health needs. Yet one issue that can have a huge impact on your health overall is the problems that arise from unhealthy cells in your body. Scientist now tell us that the primary causes of disease, illness and the effects of aging lie in the health of our cells.
I recommend phytonutrients and antioxidants to all my adult patients. Phytonutrients and Antioxidants are the key to safeguarding your healthy cells and your immune system….the BASIC foundation to your wellbeing!”– Dr. Scott Parry
